Hi I’m Eliot Dill.  Once upon a time I described myself as software engineer.  Although I love technology and coding, I discovered that I’d rather do it on my OWN terms.  I was tired of getting handed specs for a widget and cranking it out a few days/weeks later.

In my experiences I’ve learned that people don’t really care about technology, they just want their stuff to work.  So I set out to write my own software and launch some Internet based businesses.  As it turns out, building the “apps” was the easy part, marketing them, not so much.

I learned quickly that if you build it, they will not come!

Determined to make things work, I am now on another adventure: to learn how to effectively market different types of products online.

Over the course of this blog, I will be building, launching, and marketing various products such as mobile apps, e-commerce sites, blogs, and niche websites.  Then reporting back my findings of what worked and what didn’t.

Articles will be mixed between marketing ideas and strategies and the same ol’ software quirks I’ve always blogged about.  Either way, if you like learning about internet technology (like WordPress, apps, and e-commerce) or internet marketing, I think you’ll like what I have to say.

I’ve subscribed to many of the new generation of top internet marketers to learn the tricks of the trade.  Subscribe to my RSS feed and follow me on Twitter to stay up-to-date.

And don’t worry, I hate spam too. Homey don’t play that!
