Kappa Alpha Order Chapter Presidents were invited to attend the National Leadership Institute (NLI), an intensive leadership training program, where they learned team building and leadership skills to carry them through their presidency. Event was also a great networking event.

Back in 2004, about a year before I was set to graduate college, I decided that it would be best for my career and future if I got an internship over the summer instead of working at the local pool and beach as a head lifeguard, as I had done the previous 5 years. On my last day, I was surprised and humbled by my boss with the piece of paper below.
